Message from the Executive Director Kagando Rural Development Center (KARUDEC) to their daughter Betsy Bamford and her husband Chris;
Dear Betsy and Chris.
Thank you very much for letting us know of the passing on of Dr. Joseph Bamford, following briefly after Susan’s just after one month.
We grieve you, and pray that you will have special grace to go through this dis difficult time.
On behalf of Kagando Rural Development Centre and the Diocese of South Rwenzori, and on my own behalf as their child, we would like to thank God for the life well lived, and the selfless service that Joe and Susan rendered to us. They offered their family resources to support the Maternal and Child health services at Kagando hospital. They also mobilized resources through the Kagando Mission Hospital Foundation USA, and this has enabled communities here to access clean water.
The MCH building and the water systems will remain a visible memory of their services. And we pledge to faithfully carry forward the good work that they started, God being our helper.
As a family, Peninnah and I and our children will miss them. They were very loving, kind and caring to us.
May grace and peace abound for you, and may the Lord, who rewards our work done on earth, grant Sue and Joe eternal rest.
NB: Susan and Joseph Bamford have been long term supporters of KARUDEC (Both Hospital and community outreach programs)
