NCHE has approved establishment of Kagando Training Institutions as a Constituent College of UCU

The National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) has approved   establishment of Kagando Training Institutions as a Constituent College of Uganda Christian University (UCU). The University college is named Uganda Christian University – Kagando University College (UCU-KUC)

The initial programs of study are;

1.  Bachelor of Nursing Science – Direct (for S.6 entrants)
2. Bachelor of Nursing Science – Completion (for those who already had a diploma in Nursing)
3. Bachelor of Midwifery Science – Direct (for S.6 entrants)
4. Bachelor of Midwifery Science – Completion (for those who already had a diploma in Midwifery)
5. Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science – Direct (for S.6 entrants)
6. Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science – Completion (for those who already had a diploma in Medical Lab)
7. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
8. Bachelor of Social Work
9.  Diploma in Business Administration
10. Diploma in Social Work

Application process is still on through our online application portal on our UCU website.

The University College takes immediate effect. Existing certificate and diploma  programs  in Nursing, Midwifery,  Laboratory,  Theatre Techniques and Clinical Medicine and Community Health will continue being offered.  Other programs shall be added asmay be appropriate.
