International Nurses’ day Celebrations June, 2025
KARUDEC community recognizes the great work done by the nurses and midwives in Uganda and all over the world. We therefore jointly celebrated their great efforts and achievements towards saving lives especially here at Kagando Hospital. The function was held on 12th June, 2025 which involved a series of activities included the following:
1. Nurses and midwives participation in environmental cleaning
2. Extended giving hand to the sick such as supply of clothes and soap to all the patients at all hospital inpatient wards.
3. Praise and warship and preaching the word of God.
4. Identified and awarded the best performers among the nurses and midwives.
5. There was also a shared dinner among all the hospital nurses and midwives with the PNO where they ate together as a sign of unity among their team.
It was interesting to announce that some of the nurses and midwives amongst the others in the congregation have spend upto to more than 30 years in service.
Many prizes were given out to such long time experienced health workers who have served at Kagando Hospital for a very long time and have always offered mentorship to others in differed hospital departments.
